Projects

This section contains some libraries and game-related stuff I’ve been making. All projects come with documented source code where applicable.

Active Projects

These projects are under active development.

• Tektosyne is a utility library that offers helper types and methods for many diverse areas. The download package contains GUI samples, unit tests, and a stand-alone class reference.
• Class Diagrammer is an application for creating UML class and package diagrams from the type information found in .NET assemblies, and automatically recreating them as these assemblies change.
• Civilization V Manual Addenda offer additional information for the strategy game Sid Meier’s Civilization V by Firaxis Games, supplementing the extensive documentation that ships with the game.

Completed Projects

These projects are no longer under active development but are known to work, and may receive maintenance updates.

• Hexkit is a strategy game system with included scenario editor. In addition to the self-installing binary package with complete source code, you may also download a stand-alone class reference and extensive PDF documentation for game and editor.
• Star Chess is a tiny space strategy game that vaguely resembles chess and employs a modified chess algorithm for its computer players. Three files are available for download: the ready-to-run binary package, the source code package, and a PDF document discussing the computer player algorithms.
• Civilization IV Mods comprises modified XML files for the strategy game Sid Meier’s Civilization IV by Firaxis Games to improve game balance and reduce AI cheating.

Abandoned Projects

These projects are obsolete for various reasons and may not work at all. You can download the source code if you dare.

• Collection Templates are a set of strongly-typed C# collection templates for use with CodeSmith, a commercial .NET template expansion utility. This project is discontinued because the Tektosyne library now provides equivalent functionality based on .NET 2.0 generics.
• Galactopedia is a utility program for the strategy game Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords by Stardock Corporation. The Galactopedia shows exhaustive information on all objects and technologies defined by the game.
